The China Studies Programme of Hong Kong Baptist University is pleased to announce the Call For Papers for the 4th Young Scholars’ Conference on China Studies. The Conference will be held on 19-20 December 2016 at the Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong. This conference aims at offering a great opportunity for postgraduate students and young faculty members to build up a stronger professional network in China Studies to better facilitate your research and future development.
 
The organizers of the Conference are China Studies Programme, Hong Kong Baptist University, Institute of Creativity and Advanced Institute for Contemporary China Studies of Hong Kong Baptist University. Co-organizers of the Conferences including School of Humanities, School of Social Sciences, Institute of Education of Tsinghua University, Institute of Taiwanese History, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Max Weber Foundation, Asia-Pacific Cluster for Chinese Entrepreneurial Studies, the University of Queensland, Australia, Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba.
 
We are inviting proposals for paper presentation addressing the “China Studies in Trans-disciplinary Paradigms” through one of the following themes:

Economics, Geography, Sociology, History, International Relation Studies, Language Studies, Educational Studies, Cultural Studies, Business and management, Sinology

Proposal ideas that extend beyond these thematic areas will also be considered. 

 

第四屆中國研究青年學者研討會由香港浸會大學中國研究課程、香港浸會大學創意研究院、香港浸會大學當代中國研究所主辦，並由清華大學人文學院、清華大學社會科學學院、清華大學教育研究院、中央研究院臺灣史研究所、德國韋伯基金會、澳洲昆士蘭大學亞太華商研究中心、曼尼托巴大學阿斯佩商學院協辦。

 

會議將於2016年12月19至20日在香港浸會大學舉行。很榮幸大會邀請到澳洲國立大學中國研究專家Professor Jonathan Unger以及西澳大學中國經濟研究專家Professor Yanrui Wu (吴延瑞)作為主題演講嘉賓，與各位學者交流他們的研究成果與心得。

 

這次研討會以青年學者為主幹，尤其歡迎貴校的博士研究生、博士後以及年青教師參與。提交論文的範圍包括：中國經濟、商業管理、地理、歷史、社會學、國際關係、教育、語言文化、漢學等方面。
